Welcome to Ws
The Workshop is not your typical Discord Server. We're proud of that. To get to know us, we recommend reading through our community's information here on GitBook. Below, you'll find information about our history, our mission, and our Core Values.
Under Read Me, you'll find all of our official policies, benefits, and other useful information.
We're glad you're here! If you have any questions, please reach out to Human Resources Department.

About Workshop

WORKSHOP is a living directory of thriving art-lovers. Our mission is to provide a space to find outstanding people to follow, look for a mentor, make new friends, or discover talented individuals to join your team. Our Discord is a safe space for the community to connect and discuss opportunities, stories, struggles, etc.

Our Values

  1. 1.
    Commitment to Practice
Regardless of your medium or expertise, we look for members who are committed to making things. You may be a professional studio artist or someone just looking for a creative outlet. We want to nurture and support a community of people who like making and sharing their work.
  2. 2.
    Enthusiastic Participation
This community is only as good as its members. Many of our current members volunteer to bring workshops, speaker series, and projects to life. We expect you to show up with a good attitude and actively participate in making the community thrive.
To create a place for creatives to learn, grow, and collaborate.
Creating art in a vacuum is nearly impossible. We gather artists who all share a passion for collaboration. We do this by sending out prompts, planning critiques, and group activities.

Programming Calendar

Every member of the community can host a session. As a community member, you can host anything you want at any time - workshops, happy hour, roundtable discussion, book club, meditation session, crits, and beyond.
